Urgent Care...

Just before we were getting ready to leave the cottage and head home we sent all the kids outside to run off some energy before nap time. We played bubbles and soccer and they have a really big hill there that I was going to show Addison how to roll down. Her and I were running up the hill holding hands and she tripped and her feet got tangled up while I was still holding her hand going up the hill. She spun around behind me (while I'm still holding her hand) and started screaming. "My Elbow!!!!! It hurts!!!!!!" We go and walk down the hill and take a look and she won't move her elbow at all or let anyone else touch it. We then threw everything into the Mini, said a quick Goodbye to my parents and headed home. In route to our house we debated whether we should take her to her Dr. or just to Urgent Care by our house. By the time we reached a decision she was sleeping in the backseat so we just drove all the way home and went to urgent care. There was no one in line before us, so we were in and out in under an hour and a half.

Turns out her arm was hyper extended and they told us to keep her arm in a sling for 4-6 weeks. Well that didn't happen. By the next day she was getting frustrated because she couldn't do anything with her left arm. So after testing it out, she took the sling off and has been fine since. Can you tell that her and Daddy got chocolate ice cream afterwards???
