Snow Day

Before we get to the snow...check out poor Charlotte. I have started transitioning the girls from 2 naps a day  to 1 nap a day and most days they do great. But every once in a while, I catch them nodding off to sleep during lunch. Charlotte fought it so hard and finally after one big sigh, she fell asleep. Addison made this comment, "Hey Momma, I think that baby needs to go to her bed, she's sleepers!" :)

Now for the snow pictures. We finally get some snow around here and as soon as it starts falling, Addison wanted to go outside and play in it. So, after the girls fell asleep I pulled out some cute winter clothes for Addison so I could try and get some cute last snow fall in Illinois pictures. We did pretty good though, we took pictures for about 10 minutes, then she was bored.

So, I asked her if she wanted to shovel the driveway. She was so happy!

And when it was time to go inside, I didn't even get any tears, I just asked for one more smile and this is what I got!

Happy Snow Day!

Murder Mystery Party

Last July at our annual camping adventure with our friends we made plans to do a Winter Weekend Getaway. We ended up deciding to come to St. Louis and we would all stay at our house and have a great weekend touring (read shopping) the city. :)

Little did we know then that this would be the last time everyone got to visit us in St. Louis. (30 days until move day!!!!!)

So, as we planned out the weekend, we planned to have a Murder Mystery Party. Ours was titled Till Death do us Part...and we Part Tonight! A Vivacious Valentine's Day Murder Mystery.  We shared a lot of laughs and a lot of fun personalities. It was a couples murder mystery party and just to have a little fun, I switched all the couples up so no body was with their spouse!!

Here are some pictures from the party.

The made-up couples

Eugene and Myrtle Love (EEK!!!! I hope I don't have white hair!)
Retired Couple

Gunner and Honey Dew
Owners of the Dew Family Farm

Harry and Hanna Heart
Football Quarterback and Head Cheerleader

Ador and Desiree Candyman
Rocket Scientist and Molecular Biologist

Hershey and Rose Darling
Chocolatier and Florist

The whole group

And the real couples, Jim and Mindy (and baby!!!!)

Mike and Angela

Bob and Jen

And I didn't get a picture of Lee and Andrea together or of Brian and myself together. Bummer. But overall it was very funny and I hope we get to do another one sometime!

Work it out!

Hahahah....I love these pictures....
Here at the Timmer household we are trying to start exercising again. Brian (when home) goes for a nightly run and then does a short ab workout. Well, lately Addison has been joining him for the ab workout. Just take a look.

Doing some sit-ups

Push-ups

Leg lifts (don't you wish you still had that kind of flexibility??)

And to top it all off some yoga! Hehe!!! :) Addison led this part!

Have a good Saturday!

Wordless Wednesday

Starting a new thing here. It's Wordless Wednesday. A friend of mine does this and I always look forward to it. It will be a little insight as to what's going on that day. I will snap a few pictures and I won't post any captions. Hope you enjoy!

Dance Party

Just a regular day over here...dressing up as Tinkerbell and putting some tutu's on! Isn't that what everyone does on a Monday afternoon? So, we had an impromptu dance party.

I said, "Go dance!!" and they found pillows to sit on....

They finally started to join Addison

Savannah saying cheese!!

Charlotte checking out her tutu.

Dancing!

The little girls didn't really like it when Addison tried to dance with them.

Then Addison wanted to take a picture with Mommy...really Addison?!?! I haven't had my shower yet and I only have the make-up that was left on from last night....well okay.

They turned out pretty good though. :)

Addison took this picture. And excuse Charlotte's open mouth. I told her to give me a kiss and this is still how she gives kisses.

And Me and Savannah.

Hope you all have a great week!

A Week In Review...

We had another great week here in this Timmer household.

We had some pretty big things going on and I thought I would keep you all informed. We sold our house here in Troy. And we bought a house in South Haven, Michigan!!!!! We all are very excited and if you ask Addison about her new house, she will tell you that it is green and it has a white door. And it has a playground (swing set) and it's at the beach! We found a house that is 2 blocks of off the beach and that is quite close to Kid's Corner. (An awesome kids playground!)

We had fun doing other stuff too though. The little girls are in the pre-sponge stage where they are just starting to absorb everything and they think they are so big.

These two are such characters.
They keep me very busy and if it ever gets quiet, you had better watch out because they are doing something wrong!

I had got them Trouble 1, 2, and 3 shirts when we were in Florida and since it was 72 here this week, the girls got to wear them. Yes, that's Addison hiding under the blanket, she didn't want her picture taken.

Then one day this week I heard Addison talking to someone in my room. I did a walk by to see who it was and this is what I walked in on.

This was tonight. Bath time was done and they were all sitting so nice all in a row in their new towels from Grandma Timmer. Land's End towels are the best! They are so snugly and warm!

This was my project of the day for the front door. I needed a new wreath so Addison and I went to Michael's and picked up the stuff (what do you think??) and went to Pet co because she wanted to go see the animals.

And here is the new house in South Haven. We have a move date set for the week of March 25 but we will be there on the 22nd to sign on the house and clean it out to move all our stuff in.

That's it for now and as we make more plans I will keep everyone up to date on what's happening.

And only 48 days and we can be called Michiganders again. :)
