30 minutes

You know those 30 minutes from the end of lunch time until nap time??? Some day's they are peaceful and some day's they are full of tears. But some day's like today they are full of craziness.

Minute 1.
End of lunch - get a wash cloth and clean up Addison who runs into her room to play.
Minutes 2-5.
Clean up Savannah and Charlotte who are covered in Mac & Cheese and Broccoli. Everywhere. They follow Addison into her room to see what she is up to.
Minute 6 and 7
Clean the table and put everything into the sink.
Minutes 8-11
Call mom because I found a good deal on burlap for an Ashley wedding idea.
During Minute 9.
Giggling interrupts our phone conversation. Charlotte found my flip flop and she is standing up next to the couch I am sitting on and she is beating Mocha in the head. With the flip flop.
During minute 11.
Smell a horrendous smell coming from Addison as she runs into the living room to find something.
Minute 12.
End phone conversation with mom so I can change the horrendous things that happened in Addison's diaper.
Minute 13
Gag...still changing the diaper.
Minute 14.
Wash hands and put Addison to bed.
Minute 15.
Take Savannah out of Addison's room and put her in the living room
Take the toy out of Charlotte's mouth and place her in the living room and also, try to be careful not to step on Savannah because she is now speed crawling back into Addison's room, giggling.
Take Savannah out of the room again and call Presley and Mocha out too. (they were already laying on Addison's bed)
Minute 16.
Make bottles for the girls nap time
Minute 17.
Go to sit down to feed Savannah and realize that she too is stinky.
Minute18.
Not that bad of a diaper, wash hands and start feeding Savannah again.
Minutes 19- 25.
Feeding Savannah.
Minute 25.
Place Savannah into her crib and give her her pacifier. 2 girls down, one to go....
Minute 26.
Grab Charlotte from my room (she was playing with the blocks that Addison had hid in there from the babies.)
Sit with Charlotte on the couch to feed her her bottle and then realize that my third child is also STINKY!!!!!
Minute 27.
Grab a diaper and the wipes and change Charlotte. Charlotte then steals the wipes package - just so she can chew on that too!
Minute 28.
Wash hands and Feed Charlotte her bottle
Minutes 28-35
Feed Charlotte her bottle.
Realize that your 30 minute goal to nap time is shot and your not even worried about it.
Minute 36.
Lay Charlotte in her crib with her pacifier and trip on a toy, smacked my head into the wall by their door and hobble out of the room.
Minute 37.
Look in mirror and see that yup that might leave a mark and put bottles in sink for hubby to wash later. Hehehe!

I love my stay-at-home life. Seriously. I really do!

Week at the Lake.

Wow, what a week, it was super super hot and even then the babies did pretty good.

I ended up buying what I called "Baby Jail." It was a huge life savor. The babies didn't mind it and us adults loved it!

Savannah

Charlotte

Addison got mad and declared the markers "mine"

Aunt Ash and Addison! They had so much fun together.

Oh my bug-a-boo.

Addison snuggled Grandma to watch the big boomers in the sky. (fireworks)

She loved looking at the moon! It was a full moon the night we watched the fireworks and Addison loved it.

One day up at the lake, they had a huge slip n slide they made. And after watching the kids all go down the slide Addison dragged me up the hill so she could go down the slide. She LOVED it.

And we tried to take Addison fishing...yeah...it didn't go so well, we will try again in a couple of years!

All in all we had a great week. We did leave the cottage early because it was to hot but we all had a blast!
