Oh Christmas Tree...

Just a few random pictures before the Christmas Tree pictures.

Check out Charlotte and Savannah, trying to hold hands.

And Addison building really tall towers!

So, I tried out an idea on Pintrest. The only problem is trying to get a toddler to sit/stand still in front of my parents Christmas Tree.

But anyway, here is Addison.

And Savannah.

Christmas in MI Part 1

I am very lucky this year. I get to spend 2 weeks home in MI this year.

So, here are a few pictures from our first days in MI.

Here are the little girls.

Charlotte on the left, then Savannah on the right.

Here's our bug-a-boo.
Grandpa Krol "fell down" and Addison tried so hard to help him up.
And then she tried to pull him across the floor!

Here is Addison one morning...checking out Aunt Ash's wedding idea book.

I think she is thinking up ideas for her wedding some day.

We got to spend some time with cousin Landon one day.

He thinks his cousins are so cool! He loves to watch Addison and he is already a great big cousin to Savannah and Charlotte!

Here he tried SO hard to get Addison's feet. And she kept scooting away from him.

Yes!!!! He says!!! I GOT HER!!!!!!!

The new face of Little Blessings

So do you like it?? I finally have a family of the 5 of us all together!!!

Sorry it's been so long since my last update. Things have been a little busy since the twins got here, and since now all my help is gone. Today was a productive day though. Brian left this morning for Florida and he comes back tomorrow. (that's not why today has been productive though :) I got all the dishes done, 3 loads of laundry done plus 2 more folded from the other day. I put away all of the girls newborn clothes and found the rest of my 3 month clothes and now they are being washed! It might not seem like a lot, but I was way impressed that I was able to get all that done. Oh! And I got my Christmas Cards ordered and my list put together!!!

But enough about me, here are the girls!!!

Can you believe that the twins are 6 weeks old today?!?!

They are getting so big already!
Here we are getting some tummy time in with big sister Addison.
Charlotte is in purple and Savannah in pink!

Charlotte is defiantly looking like Addison. She has the chubby cheeks and laid back personality. She can chug a bottle in about half the time Savannah does, so Brian always wants to feed her because then he gets done quicker! :)

Savannah is my tiny peanut! :) Yes she is going cross-eyed in this picture, but something in the blanket was really interesting to look at because all 5 pictures I took were of her being cross-eyed. Savannah is a little bit more high maintenance. She does fuss a little bit more than Charlotte but I think that once she puts on a little bit more weight, that will change. She looks more like my mom, even though the girls are identical.

My dear sweet Savannah!

And chillin Charlotte!

Hopefully it won't be another month until I update you on the girls again! I will try and post again in a few weeks! :)

Oh Punnies! (Oh Pumpkinks!)

A little explanation...Addison can't say pumpkins. So every time she would go outside, she would say, "Oh Punnies!!!!" It was very cute!

She also doesn't like to get her hands dirty, so pumpkin carving was a no go for her.

She did however enjoy helping mommy poke the toothpicks in the pumpkins so mommy could carve them.

Here is my #1 pumpkin. All dressed up in her costume.

Checking out her candy stash! Once again she didn't know what was in them, so she would just sort them by shapes or colors. So all the KitKats got grouped together and all the suckers got put into another pile. It also made for hand melted chocolate when mommy and daddy wanted to eat anything.

Here is pumpkin #2 Savannah!

And #3 Charlotte.

All my pumpkins. Aren't they cute!

Settling in.

Well I think we are officially settled in. Now all our help is gone and we get to care for the twins by ourselves. I am truly grateful for our moms. Grandma Timmer came first and helped care for Addison while I was in the hospital. And then Grandma Krol came and stayed the next two weeks to help take care of me and get me back on my feet and also take care of a baby or two. :)

These pictures were taken while the girls were about 8-13 days old. I do have more. But they are uploaded to my computer in the basement, and maybe in a couple of days I will feel up to venturing down the stairs and posting those.

But for now here are Miss Savannah and Miss Charlotte! These super cute blankets are from a family friend and aren't they adorable!!!!!! Addison also got a shirt, but I have yet to get a picture of her in it.

Here Addison is feeding her baby a bottle, just like mommy and Grandma feed the babies!

She is so stinkin adorable!

She also now has a deep appreciation for cleaning. She loved to help Grandma clean windows.

Here is Charlotte on the left and Savannah on the right.

Addison loved the Haloween candy that we handed out to all the kids. She didn't figure out that there is yummy stuff to eat inside those wrappers, she just enjoyed sorting the yellow ones.

Charlotte, Savannah.

And daddy, doing what daddies do best, snuggles!
