I'm going to miss this......

Do you remember this little chubby munchkin???

I do. This was just under a year ago when she was standing by herself, just starting to crawl and could only say "Mama" when she really wanted something.

Now check her out! I have been getting reminders daily that my baby is growing up. She is independent, can walk no run wherever she goes and can say well over 60 words that include Help, Milk, Church and Carrie Jo.

I do get some reminders that she is still my baby. See these rolls? I'm very happy that they are still there and she hasn't lost them yet.

She brings me daily smiles. Especially when she catches me off guard saying "Hi."

She loves to be outside, and loves to pick up the rocks from our landscaping just so she can put them back. And if one falls out she will pick it up to put it back in its place.

Overall, I love that she is growing and changing. But, I do wish that time would slow down and let me enjoy all of the little things that will soon become a memory.

Life Lessons.

Addison learned a very important life lesson yesterday and today I got to take pictures of it.
The life lesson is that cookies taste SO much better when dipped in milk.

So what follows is Addison dipping her cookie in milk and actually drinking the milk out of the cup when she was done.

Pausing to say Uh-Oh becuase she spilt milk on the table.

Yummmmm.

Do I dare???

Ah!!!! Milk is good!

So we can't drink perfectly quite yet....

After snack smile! :)

29 weeks...

Just got back from my 8:00 A.M. (ugh!!!) Dr. appt.

My Dr. is very happy with how the girls are looking. I don't have any pictures of Baby A today, she wasn't in the best position for it. But, she is weighing in at 3 lbs 8 oz and she already has hair on her head!!!!! Yeah for more hair bows!!!!!! She is also still head down with her body along my right side.

Baby B is weighing in at 3 lbs 10 oz. She is head up and loves to head butt my rib cage and her body is across my tummy with her feet down. (She is still very much like Brian and constantly moving and not able to sit still!) And here are her pictures, she has chubby little cheeks just like Addison and Brian and she just might have a dimple already! :) In the bottom picture she kept sticking out her tongue, so the tech tried to get a picture of it.

My Dr also told me that with the way my body is looking I just might make it until my delivery date of Oct. 19. And with the way the girls are growing, I just might have two 8 lb babies yet. That would be 16 lbs of babies in here!!!!!!!!! Oh dear......

28 weeks 5 days...

I know it's been a while since I posted any belly pictures again. So, here it is. I had a Dr. appt today and found out that they bumped my due date back to Oct. 29. It's kinda frustrating and I've spent the day ho-homing about it and now it's time to kick my butt back into gear. My stomach is measuring 39 cm so if I was pregnant with only 1 baby that would mean I would be about 39 weeks along. But, not with twins. They really don't have any accurate way to measure twins except by ultrasound. So, we get to have another one next week. I will defiantly post pictures of them as soon as I get home.

Also, someone got a little jealous that mom was getting her picture taken. She kept looking up at Brian saying "Cheese!", "Cheese!" So she needed her picture taken too, and I got a kiss!

Being a Big Sister!!!

Addison was so cute last night.

Brian came home with two swings for the twins last night and Addison got to practice being a big sister. She went and got her two babies and carried them around for a while and then put them into the two swings. She then proceeded to rock them and actually did it quite gently.

She is going to be an awesome big sister!!!!

Projects complete!

We FINALLY have some completed projects done around the house!

Here Brian made a built in cabinet for the upstairs TV. It also has a nice bookshelf and toy storage below.  We are still looking for a glass shelf to put in for multiple book shelves, but for now this is a huge improvement from before.

Outside, I posted earlier that we put in eave vents and shutters (thanks Scot for the help :)) and now we have a painted front door and landscaping!!!

This is a before picture. I know there is snow on the ground, but this is the only picture I have of the front of the house without any improvements.

And this is after! It looks much better if you ask me.

Close up of the landscaping.

Our last completed project actually got started last October!!!!! And now it is finally finished. This is now the kids bathroom on the main level of our house. The builder used a tinted primer instead of actual paint, so after a year of taking showers in there the drywall tape started peeling up around the shower. So we ended up tiling around the back of the shower, ripping up the old tile and replacing it. I also had Brian build a new vanity. You can find the same one at Pottery Barn for $899! It is just like this one. And after adding some paint (that someone else returned to Home Depot and we purchased for $5) and a new mirror (that was on clearance for $20) our bathroom is complete!

So here is before.

And here is after!

What's next for the Timmer project list???? Oh I don't know, we are only have twins in under 11 weeks and their room hasn't been started yet! And I think I can scrounge up a couple of other projects that Brian can work on too!
