Zeeland Zoom

Yesterday was the Zeeland Zoom and we got to participate this year! Before the race started we played and had dinner at Grandma Timmer's house and got some new Grandma Timmer pictures.

Shoe tags, some were real and others were just for pretend.

Megan and Isaac wanted some after the race pictures in their awesome pink shirts! 

You can tell they are still newlyweds....they still do cute stuff like this! hehe

Beach Day

Last Saturday was Harborfest here is South Haven and after some shopping and the guys installing some windows it was time to hit the beach! 

Hopefully this is the first of many beach days this summer!

As you can see this one was all ready for the beach!

Addison thought this was so cool!!!! She had no idea what it was though!

Char wasn't quite ready to go wading into the water!

This one loved the water this year.

Savannah wasn't quite so sure either.

Wordless Wednesday

Work in Progress

Building Progress Update.

We have started framing the walls for the way we need them for our new windows, doors and for the fireplace. 

Here, a couple of girls who were avoiding bedtime one night by watching Daddy do some work.

Here is my fireplace and where the double doors exiting the 3 seasons room were. 

This is the south wall, looking out to the back yard. There was 3 windows and we are changing it to a door and 2 windows.

West wall - looking towards the lake. There was 5 HUGE fake windows, and we kept 5 windows but we made them a little smaller.

North wall - looking towards the street. There was 2 windows and we kept one window and put in a door to access the wrap around porch that we hope to put in.

So far that's it. The new windows come in tomorrow and then more progress can be made when I get to help Brian put those in.

It's June?

Is it really?? It feels more like late April or early May here this morning! By this time last year in St. Louis I had already packed away all of the girls winter pants and long sleeved shirts. But here in Michigan, I haven't been able to do that yet, every other week lately is cooler and the girls need those warmer clothes. 

But this was from last week Thursday or Friday, maybe even Wednesday, I really don't remember. Here's Char nicely playing with the tricycle.....

well, it might have gotten stolen.

Here we moved to the front yard. We have a mini hill that is really fun to ride toys down, or just even to roll down. Addison understands how to roll, the babies

not so much. They do the backward crawl down the hill.

Savannah loves the hill.

They crashed and it took a while after giggling to get back up

This girl loves to run down the hill and not look where she is going.

Happy Monday! It's going to be a busy week over here at the Timmer household. Cousin play dates, birthday dinners, garage sales and more birthday parties!!!! Can't wait! Oh and then there is the 3 seasons room we are converting into my new living room. We have the chimney, a couple of windows and a door partially framed in!!!!! Progress is a good thing! Pictures of that to come soon!
