Camping 2011

Camping is so much fun, especially when you get to do it with a great group of friends. This year we had a new camping location. We decided to try out P.J. Hoffmaster State Park, in Muskegon, MI. And this year we upgraded to camping in my parents moterhome!!! Next year we will get to try camping with 3 little girls and I'm sure that will be a new adventure too!

But back to this year, Addison was such a great camper! The only thing she wasn't okay with was getting dirt on her hands. But other than that, she was awesome! She slept great, she played great, she even got to love on a couple of our friends. And she always had to know where Uncle Bob was! :)

She got to travel in style in her car seat for this trip!

Thursday night was rainy so we were very grateful for the moterhome that night.

Friday was cool, but not rainy so we were okay with that. We went and checked out the beach that day and it was Windy!!!!!

Someone needed some Dadda snuggles!

Once again do you think they now how similar they are??

More snuggles!

Momma, it's Windy!

Then on Saturday we got to celebrate with our friends Lee and Andrea. They are also expecting. But not twins! They are going to be having a baby boy and they are due about a week and a half before the twins.

But Addison took a late nap and got some more Dadda snuggles.

Not that he was complaining at all. :)

On Sunday we made the journey back to Illinois. It was very surreal for me. It was the last trip that we are planning on taking as a family of three. I can't travel after 30 weeks, so we will be missing quite a few things that are going on this summer and fall. Hopefully we can come home for Thanksgiving. But that is all depending on how the twins are doing and if we feel up to taking a 6 hour car ride with 6 week olds! :)

Growing...

We just got back from the Dr. and the girls look great! They are growing at a good rate and my Dr. was very pleased at how well the are looking.

Baby A is now 14 oz and she cooperated a lot better this time than last time. So, we got to see her cute little face!

The first picture is of the side of her body.

Look at her! Isn't she just the cutest!!!!
We got to see her face in 2D but as soon as the u/s tech switched to 3D she turned on us. But check it out, I think I am going to have another thumb sucker!

Then it was Baby B's turn. She is now 13 oz and the girls are separated by only 2 grams in weight! It still is so amazing to me!

Here you see Baby B's belly and face.

Then, Addison started moo-ing at her sisters. And Baby B scowled at her. So that is the picture I get of Baby B's face. Still, it's a very cute little scowl! :)

Mud Puddles.

What do you get when you have an intense 5 minute rain storm + freshly cut grass + one toddler???

One awesome mud puddle!

The following is what happens when you introduce a toddler to a mud puddle for the first time.

Enjoy!

First Pony Tail!

Check out this cutie!!!!

I finally got Addison's hair into a real pony tail! It took some work and a little bit of water and hairspray to get it to stay but she didn't seem to mind at all.

And this first picture, I got her to say "cheese!"

Busy, Busy, Busy

This Timmer family has been busy, busy, busy!

It finally stopped raining all the time so we could start getting some stuff done around this house.

First I'll start with Addison. She is the one people want to see the most of after all! :)

She has been super busy helping me, exploring new things and of course, smelling more flowers.

Her new thing or new word I should say is "Ack!!!" She really doesn't like anything one her hands. If any dirt, grass, bugs, leftover food of any kind gets on her hands she will come up to me and say "ack!" And expect it to be wiped off.

She also has been busy contemplating how much her life is going to change in 4 short months!

She has been REALLY busy yelling at the dogs. Her favorite thing to yell at them is still NO!!!!!!

She never is to busy though to stop and just say "hi."

She has been starting to get more busy playing golf. And sometimes she does actually hit the ball!

That's about it for Addison. Brian has also been very busy lately. Him and a good friend took on another roofing project this year and now that that is complete he is starting to do some stuff around our house. Like putting shutters on our house.

He also put vents in the top eaves of our house.

This is a kinda of close up of the shutters and the vent on the left eave. And also notice the color of the fence.

This weekend Brian painted the fence. It really should have been done 2 years ago, but about a week after putting the fence up we found out we were pregnant with Addison.

Psss. Also if you get a chance, ask Brian about his fence jumping capabilities.

Fence - 1, Brian - 0.   :)

As for me, I am busy wrapping up a few things. Last week Sunday was my last Sunday teaching my Sunday School class. When you work with 2 year old's, it is kinda essential to be able to bend and pick up toys or kids for that mater. And next week will be my last week taking care of the infant that I started nannying for this past January.

Other than that, I am just slowly getting bigger and bigger, you can kinda see my shadow in the glass door. Maybe sometime this week I will try and take another belly picture. :)

I also can now feel the girls moving around and it is such an amazing thing. We still feel so blessed to have this experience, even on the days when we wonder how we are going to make it through those first few months with 3 little girls under 2.

But that's all for now, we hope that you all have a great week! It's going to be really hot here, so stay cool!!!

Dessert for 2. (or 3)

Seriously, this is about as easy as it gets.
Especially when you have a toddler who loves to help.

First add 2 cups of milk and 1 package of instant pudding in a bowl.

Hand your favorite toddler a whisk and let them have fun!

Pour into any serving bowl or wine glass.
And Enjoy!

The black dots are mini chocolate sprinkles not bugs as Addison was calling them tonight.

About 5 minutes later...
Serve and Bon Appetit!

P.S. mine was in a wine glass tonight because a glass of chilled white wine was calling my name and this was the best I could do! :(
