Winter Wonderland

I did it!!!!

I finally was able to take Addison out in the snow to play today! She had fun....for about a minute. Then she fell and snow fun time was over. But I did manage to get a few pictures of her having fun!

This was very much like the kid in A Christmas Story who fell, and rolled, because they could not get up!

Curls!

Oh how I love this little girl!!!!!!

I gave Addison a bath on Saturday afternoon because we were going to have friends over that night. Since it's been so cold lately, I used my blow dryer to dry her hair and out popped the curls!!!!! I did put some hair product in her hair to keep the curls and we had enough time before everyone came over to snap a few pictures.

In other Addison news....she is now walking about 90% of the time and only crawling when she falls and hasn't reached her destination. She also loves to carry things around!!! Like my shoes...I can only ever find one of them where I left them and the other one is typically under something.

Christms Cookies!

I love Christmas Cookies. So, I invited over a couple of stay-at-home-moms and their kids to help me decorate some cookies and for some adult time! We had so much fun! Brooke and Grayson helped us out for a little while but soon lost interest and locked themselves in Addison's room to play.

These are about half of what I baked.

Addison first cookie was a Star Christmas Cookie...and she loved it!

The Latest!

Has it really been almost 2 weeks since I posted anything??? Wow, well we went home to MI for the entire week of Thanksgiving and had so much fun. Addison got to play with her cousins, the food at both Thanksgivings was amazing. Brian had a hockey tournament, and helped out friends and family with some projects. And I got to enjoy time with friends and family!

Addison is officially walking!!!!!

She walks until she crashes and the crawls the rest of the way but she is doing it!!!!

After coming home I was in full Christmas mode. I set up the tree by myself and all the decorations. All that's left is Brian has to put the lights on the front of the house, and that it! I also started and finished my Christmas cards and it was much more difficult than I expected. Addison really didn't want her picture taken!!! So after 2 days of taking random pictures these are what were left over.
