A Winter Beach Day

So here is the other side of South Haven that most people probably don't get to see. Here's the beach covered in ice and snow. And just a few seagulls that (in my opinion) are crazy enough to stick around for the winter.

Yes, Grandma Timmer.....we still remember how to chase the sea gulls

We got to play on the playground. And it wasn't very hard to keep track of the girls. They were the only ones there!

Hi Char!

And we didn't have to try and share the swings either!

Here's our lighthouse, yesterday the waves were amazing to see. But today is just as beautiful!

More seagull chasing

Char wanted her picture by her 'self!!!!'

And the best part...hot chocolate!!!

Excuse the boogers!

Happy Monday!

Life Lately

Oy, I don't know why but I am falling behind again....it could be we were gone last weekend, or Brian has been traveling for work again, or just the kids are extra crazy lately.

But anyway here's what we have been up to, Holly our elf left us some candy cane seeds (peppermint tic tacs) to plant.

New favorite picture of Savannah here!

Planting the seeds

And then we had to put them by the window for moonlight to grow. And sure enough they grew into perfect candy canes already wrapped in plastic! hehe

Last Sunday we got to go back to St. Louis for the first time since we moved. We got lunch with some friends and then headed to our hotel to check in and unpack. This was the girls first time in a hotel and they loved it!

Savannah and Charlotte got to share one bed

And Addison had her own bed too!

The whole reason for going was that we got to go to Daddy's work and ride in a horse drawn carriage ride through a park that had tons and tons of light displays. They had such a fun time. We sang some carols with the other carriage riders. And just enjoyed!

Daddy and his girls in the carriage. Sorry Char and Nina, I forgot to see if you could see!

Then this past weekend we had some friends come over and while the daddies worked on the house, we got to decorate cookies!

Thanks Deagan for helping us!!!

She was so proud of her cookie!

Holly the Elf

We will be having a visitor for this Christmas Season. A couple of weeks ago Addison and I went to the Elf Store (Bed Bath & Beyond) to pick up our elf. We talked about how you can't touch the elf because then they loose their magic and we decided to name our elf, Holly. Even the twins love her and will yell at you when you get to close to her!

So, last night Holly got her magic and started to create mischief around the house. Last night she T.P. our Christmas Tree!!!!

Silly Holly!

Char was yelling at everyone to "don't touch!!!!!!"

A couple of other random pictures for you also.

We got to go to the South Haven Christmas Parade this past weekend. It was perfect, it only lasted about 15 minutes so no one got cold or bored!

And here is my new favorite of the girls. Somewhere at my parents house there is a picture of me and my sisters sitting in front of the fireplace watching the fire.

Here is my girls watching "the Elf of a Shelf" movie in front of the fire!

I love it!!!

Happy Monday!
