Pumpkin Carving 2012

Yay!!! Pumpkin carving time!!!!

Ya, easier said than done with 3 little kids wanting to run around.

Brian and I pretty much had an assembly line going this year. Kid picture with pumpkin, Brian scooped the pumpkin goop out, I carved the pumpkin, and then he would take the pumpkin outside. Repeat 2 more times.

No super cute cut outs this year. Everyone got the standard smiley face!

Hope you enjoy the pictures!

She didn't want to take the top off, so she helped put the top back one.

Helping me carve the pumpkin.

Charlotte was REALLY excited for her pumpkin!!!

Savannah thought it was pretty cool too.

Picture time did not go well....Savannah didn't want to be outside!

Happy Halloween!!!

Just wanted to share these....the girls did pretty good. But they little girls always seemed to have a stink face. Oh well maybe next time we will get lots of smiles!

Multiple Blessings - 1 year later.

My babies are one!!!!

What a year it has been. In some aspects it has been the longest year of my life, but really it feels like it was just yesterday Brian was helping me into the car to go to the hospital to deliver these precious beautiful little girls. This last year has changed Brian and myself. We are both more patient and we are much more grateful for each other than we ever were before. Yes, this year was difficult in some ways but when you look at all the blessings that these girls have brought us, the blessings far out weigh the difficult times. There still are times when Brian and I will look at each other in amazement that we have twins....no it still hasn't sunk in yet. And who knows if it ever will. We still feel so blessed.

But any way, here are the girls.

Charlotte and myself before the party that we had for them.
(All my pictures are on my mom's camera, so they will probably get posted later)

Savannah chasing a balloon

Charlotte then Savannah. Yes my Savannah is a little daredevil... I wonder where she gets that from? :)

Grandma Day

Last week while we were home, Grandma Timmer came up with this great idea. She wanted to take Addison to Paint-A-Pot.

I didn't tell Addison about it before hand, just because I didn't know what she would think or say. But she had such a fun time.

Here she is in her painting apron

We picked out a bowl and some paint dobbers and she started to make these beautiful dots of her bowl.

Painting dots is very serious work. :)

Then Addison needed to embellish her bowl a little and decided to add some lines and some other dots.

And this is what it finished out like.

Thanks Grandma Timmer, we had a great time!!!

A fall adventure.

Today was the first Saturday in a LONG time that we did not have something planned. So when Addison woke up this morning I asked her if she wanted to go on an adventure. She was so excited. We loaded up the girls in the mini and we were off to Eckert's (a local pumpkin/apple/adventure destination).

These two were a little sleepy after taking a nap in the car, but they sure woke up quickly.

This one had a blast riding on daddy's shoulders.

Playing Peek-A-Boo in the big apple.

She was so silly today. She kept walking up to all the mums and saying "Wow Momma!!! What pretty flowers. I like flowers." Over and over.

Favorite picture of the day.

Then we got the girls some little pumpkins.
It wasn't worth getting regular sized ones yet because we are headed back to MI this Thursday.

Charlotte loved hers.

As did Savannah.

Have a great weekend!
