Blueberry Babes

We went and picked strawberries (I had my mom and sister pick mine) we didn't want to have the little girl's in the muddy field. But today we wanted to pick blueberries. And we were not going to bring the twins but I'm glad we did! They fell asleep in the car on the way there and then slept in the stroller for a while. When they woke up, there were in awesome moods!!!! They all loved picking/eating the blueberries. Addison and I picked 12 pounds and they are going to be great to eat this winter!

Just 21 short months ago this was us....it's crazy how fast these girls are growing and changing! Then I was juggling a toddler schedule and 15 or so bottles a day with 30 some diaper changes in a day. Now I have one little (big) girl who has more words then I know what to do with and two toddlers!!!! One who can still charm her way into your heart with all her hugs and then there is the other one.....if she's not climbing onto my table, she might be in my make-up drawer. Or perhaps she has found the silverware drawer, the wipes container, box of diapers, or I forgot to close the girl's closet door and now all the clothes are on the floor! It's never a dull moment around here with Miss Savannah.

House Update: What do you think???

Oy, this goofball. So I bought her this hat for our upcoming family pictures and now she wears it constantly. Crazy girl...

But here is the house. We finally found a color that we could both agree on and a trim style...and yeah....We finally had some time to work on the house. Yes, That is my new chimney with my new wood burning fire place!!!!!! (I'm super excited!!!!!!)

Then she thought she got a phone call on daddy's phone.....

The backside of the house, we took out a window and added a door. 

This is from the inside....so here is my dilemma, what would you do for window coverings??? I don't want blinds because they could cover up my transom up top. The only thing that I'm really considering is putting a rod all the way across the room in between the transom window and the other part of the window and gather curtains on either end of the room and somewhere in the middle....What do you think??? Anyone else have any ideas????

And here is the little part that will face the road. The door is there because eventually we will be putting in a wrap around porch.

Happy 4th of July

SO what did we do for the 4th of July???? How about a beach day with Aunt Ash!!!! (While daddy worked on the house and the babies took naps!)

It was so much fun and I can't wait to do it again. Addison keeps asking for another beach day and as soon as the lake warms up again...I'm sure you will find us there!

And we saw the ship that's docked in our harbor, The Friends Good Will. It was a fun time for all and I can't wait to go back again!
